Started the day looking for my lost flip flop that has mysteriously gone missing for a while, but somehow turns back up!! then I suggest a bike ride, and one of the oldest boys Soapy says we will go to the mountain, well actually its more like a hill and it looks miles away, but I agree as so many look so excited to show me!!
Oh and a couple of pictures of prizes won in Bingo they just love it!! :)
So off we go down another dirt track, it takes about an hour and we arrive at a this beautiful temple so serene and peaceful. I had packed so,e treats for the kids which they loved. We take about an hour looking at everything here from inside the temple (pagoda) to the huge fish pond, the Buddas. We have a monk who offers us incense which we light and pay our respects, and also I am taught about Khumer history by the children and this provides them with a chance to practice their new vocab from hospitality classes, 'I am the tourist and they are the hosts!! There is also something that somewhat represents Monet's famous painting of the bridge and lily pads near Paris ( see photos below).
